Meet your Saint Ben's 20 Year Reunion Committee!

Molly Metcalf Fischer

Major:
English

Currently I am: Working as an elementary/middle school counselor in the Twin Cities metro area, married for 15 years to my Johnny husband Kirk Fischer, enjoying the adventures of parenting my 12 year old son, Will and 10 year old daughter, Rylee.

My favorite memories at CSB:
Competing and traveling with the Blazer Tennis Team, Studying abroad in Cannes, France, and hanging out with my wonderful roommates from East 119!

I plan to attend reunion:
because 20 years is big milestone! (can it really be?!) Looking forward to celebrating and reconnecting with everyone.

Nicole Denne Gross

Major: Elementary Education

Currently I am: married and living in Maple Grove with two children. My oldest son is currently attending Saint John's! I am teaching 3rd Grade at Washington Elementary School in the Anoka-Hennepin School District.

My favorite memory of Saint Ben's is: I have so many wonderful memories from St. Ben's. Some of my best memories are making such great friends. We were like one big family. We loved to just hang out and talk, study, or order some Gary's Pizza late at night. I also loved playing volleyball at St. Ben's. The road trips were so much fun...lots of belly laughs!

I plan to attend reunion: so I can reconnect with some of the most amazing women I have ever met!!!

Elizabeth Schmidt Jennings

Major: German and Liberal Studies

Currently I am: living in Shoreview with my husband and two kids, and working as an independent piano teacher through my home studio

My favorite memory at Saint Ben’s is:
quiet moments in the libraries or chapels on either campus, and a couple of loud parties

I plan to attend reunion:
because my batteries get recharged every time I go to St. Ben’s

Brenda Thurmes

My Major was: Mathematics

Currently I am:
a Senior Technology Project Manager for Thomson Reuters in Eagan, MN. (the old West Publishing; yes, I have been there since we graduated!)

My favorite memory at St. Ben’s is:
my semester abroad in Salzburg, Austria; Pinestock (all four were fun, but Senior year was my fave); La Playette happy hours that stretched into dancing all night to the Lesters; “studying” at the libraries…

I plan to attend reunion because:
reunion is always a great weekend to reconnect with friends. And I’m always reminded that we’re a really impressive group of women and I’m fortunate to have spent my college years with you all!!

Erin Fogarty Lisle

My majors: Government and History

Currently I am:
a part-time lawyer and full-time homemaker (love that term)

My favorite memories at St. Ben's are:
watching my roommates jump from the 2nd floor balcony of the East apartments into the snowbanks below, every Watab and Pinestock, listening to Katy Smith master the French language and attempt to master the recorder, hanging out with friends for hours on end

I plan to attend the reunion because:
I know I will have a great time and they will serve Bennie Bars!

Onalee Grady-Erickson

Major: Biology

Currently I am: working as a subcontractor for the Department of Homeland Security; adjunct instructor for the Center for Domestic Preparedness; MN Department of Public Safety in my spare time.

My favorite memory at Saint Ben’s is: Living in Theresa Hall; Spring break in FL with Christy, Tanya, Kelly, Karri, Nicole………and that guy with glasses.

I plan to attend reunion: because going to St. Bens brings me back to a time when I wasn’t late for everything (yes, believe it or not, I am always LATE these days). I love walking around the campus because it always makes me feel relaxed and puts a smile on my face. I can’t wait!
